This past weekend we headed for the Uinta mountains. We found a nice place at the Moosehorn campground overflow. It was still right by the lake! Our neighbors/friends, Mandy and Matt, joined us up there the following day. It was fun to have them there. There were so many pictures that turned out good so I am going to post a ton.
Fischer enjoying some quiet fishing time. He is the only one that caught something, but it was so small we threw it back.
Beautiful place !!! The first night we went on a little hike around the campground and the lake. This was dusk on that day.
London enjoying Mirror Lake, just down the road. She was not leaving this spot for anything. Throwing rocks was great entertainment.
Dallin... there's nothing better than a Batman fishing pole right? He actually got the hang of fishing. After a little instruction he was baiting his own hook and casting by himself, he loved it.
This was right when we got there, obviously, because they are still semi-clean and the cold hadn't set in yet so they are still enjoying shorts. It was really cold there! I didn't think that August would be that bad. So bring your coats and don't leave them on a tree! (Mandy :))

Fun times! Thanks for the idea, we definitely need to do it again before it gets too cold (yes, it does get even colder than this weekend was)! I am buying new snowcoats tomorrow :) Next time I will try to hang on to them.
